Process for selling and buying a membership:

A Shareholder may sell her/his share of the Corporation’s stock at any time but must do so in accordance with the procedures outlined. To sell his/her share of the Corporation’s stock, the Shareholder has the responsibility of finding and selecting a buyer as well as negotiating the price with the buyer. The Secretary may assist in this process if needed.

Once a buyer and price are determined, the Shareholder will contact the Secretary, fill out a Bill of Sale as provided by the Secretary, provide proof of ownership as required by the Secretary, and pay the transfer fee as determined by the Board to the Corporation.

Bill of Sale: to be filled out jointly by both the Seller and Buyer. It can be found here: Bill of Sale.

Proof of Ownership: Seller, if you have your original stock certificate: sign and date your stock certificate on the back, indicating who the membership is being sold to. All persons listed as owners must sign certificate. If you cannot find your stock certificate, print and fill out the Lost Stock Certificate Form (Lost Stock Certificate Form). One of these two Proof of Ownership methods must be delivered to the Secretary.

Transfer Fee: A $100 transfer fee needs to be paid to the Club, this can be paid for by the Seller or Buyer.  We accept cash, check or Venmo via @evergreenclubdues.

Once the Secretary has received the Bill of Sale, Proof of Ownership and the Transfer Fee a new stock certificate will be issued to the new member.
